Elizabeth Gerbel

CEO and Founder

Elizabeth serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EAG 1Source and EAG Services. She is responsible for the company’s strategic leadership and vision, and provides guidance, direction and expertise to clients and team members. Elizabeth has 20 years of deep oil and gas industry experience and has personally advised startups to Fortune 500 companies to everything in between.

Under Elizabeth’s direction, both EAG companies have become synonymous with ‘trust’ in the oil and gas industry. Elizabeth’s passion for the industry, dedication to her clients’ success, and commitment to growing her company to best serve customers is recognized both internally and externally. Her organization has been touted multiple times as a top-tier work environment for professionals and has earned the Fortune Magazine’s Best Workplaces in Consulting for 2019 as well as Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces across all industries nationwide.

Prior to founding EAG, she was a partner at McKinley Powell, LLC, a manager with PWC, and began her career at Andersen Consulting (Accenture). Elizabeth earned an MBA from the McCombs School at UT Austin in 2001 and a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 1994.

Amanda Thibodaux

Chief Operating Officer

Amanda Thibodaux has been part of the EAG family since 2008. As Vice President of Internal Operations for both EAG 1Source and EAG Services, Amanda is responsible for the overall management of all operations to ensure the company is running smoothly and efficiently. These responsibilities include information technology, accounting and finance, company compliance, facilities, human resources, recruiting, retention activities, internal communications, company events, and beyond.

With over 14 years of client-facing and consulting experience, Amanda understands what is required internally to support the company externally. Prior to joining EAG, Amanda spent 10 years in the automotive industry as a consultant and project lead for the Reynolds and Reynolds Company.

Amanda holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University in College Station and holds a PMP certification. Amanda enjoys watching sports (especially football), reading, cooking, spending time with her family, and socializing with friends.

Lindsey Mersman

Vice President of Business Development

Lindsey Mersman, Vice President of Business Development at EAG Services and EAG 1Source, has been with the company since 2013. In the past three years, Lindsey has tripled the EAG footprint and client base through her leadership. Prior to this role, Lindsey played an integral part of the EAG consulting delivery team, leading large-scale training, system implementation and change management efforts for the industry’s top producers. As a result of her on-the-ground experience, Lindsey utilizes her industry and consulting expertise to better understand the challenges clients face and to deliver optimal business solutions.

Lindsey enjoys staying up to date with the Oil & Gas industry and technology changes to provide clients with offerings that meet today’s trends. On the personal front, Lindsey enjoys traveling abroad, good food and great red wine! She graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where she earned two Bachelor of Science degrees.

Lindsey Mersman, Vice President of Business Development at EAG Services and EAG 1Source, has been with the company since 2013. In the past five years, Lindsey has tripled the EAG footprint and client base through her leadership. Prior to this role, Lindsey played an integral part of the EAG consulting delivery team, leading large-scale training, system implementation and change management efforts for the industry’s top producers. As a result of her on-the-ground experience, Lindsey utilizes her industry and consulting expertise to better understand the challenges clients face and to deliver optimal business solutions.

Lindsey enjoys staying up to date with the Oil & Gas industry and technology changes to provide clients with offerings that meet today’s trends Additionally, she enjoys building long standing client and vendor partnerships. Lindsey is dedicated to understanding the challenges our clients face and collaborating with them to determine suitable process and technology solutions to solve those issues.

Prior to joining EAG Services, Lindsey spent six years in sales and customer service, responsible for project design, contract negotiations, budgeting, implementation, and profitability. Effective communication with diverse personalities and learning styles is one of her key strengths.

When not networking and engaging with clients, Lindsey enjoys exploring Houston with her dog or jet setting across US and International hot spots. She loves to travel. Her ideal trip is wandering through a new city experiencing all the food, architecture, and entertainment the location offers. Lindsey graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where she earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Hotel & Restaurant Administration. Lindsey was also recently honored as a recipient of the 2020 Great Place to Work For All Leadership Award.

Jeff Hutchens

Jeff Hutchens

CIO & Vice President of IT Outsourcing

Jeff Hutchens, Vice President of IT Outsourcing & CIO of EAG recently joined the Leadership team to provide EAG internally and our clients with long-term vision development and multi-year program execution, and IT Strategy. He brings over 26 years of experience in High-Tech and Oil & Gas industries, Energy, Technology, Government (US Army), and Manufacturing and has demonstrated ability in supporting systems and delivering complex multi-year projects over geographically dispersed companies.

Jeff is an experienced leader who has managed various groups comprising of both internal and external resources. His experience is in all areas of IT with the most recent focus on acquisitions and divestitures, contract negotiations, master data management, project and portfolio management, and enterprise software implementations, bringing a high level of strategic guidance and overall IT vision. His expertise allows EAG to leverage technology and innovation to streamline infrastructure and processes for our clients and outsourcing organization.

Prior to EAG, he has held various positions in the Oil & Gas industry working at EnCana/Ovintiv, Antero Resources, and EQT. Jeff holds degrees in Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration from University of Denver. Jeff enjoys camping and traveling and in his free time he is a Boy Scout leader and youth wrestling coach.

CIO & Vice President of Advisory Services

Dave Supp recently joined the 1Source Leadership team to provide our clients with IT Strategy, Innovation and Optimization. Dave has a passion for finding ways to introduce the right technology at the right time to solve the complex problems Oil and Gas Companies face. He serves as the CIO and Key IT strategist for many of 1Source’s clients and is always thinking about how to minimize spend while maximizing outcomes.
Dave is an accomplished IT professional in the Oil & Gas industry. He has held various management consulting and leadership positions in Oil & Gas over the past 12 years with focus on IT Strategy Development and System Integration Projects.

Prior to joining EAG, Dave worked at EQT Corporation, a leading Appalachian E&P company. As the Director Midstream & Production IT, he was responsible for implementation and support of technologies including EAM, GIS, SCADA, measurement, and field mobile computing systems. Additionally, he led several Innovation Projects for the organization focusing on leveraging technology to streamline manual and inefficient processes.

Before EQT Corporation, Dave was the Director of IT for CNX Gas assisting the organization with the technology transformation from a Coal to Oil and Gas Operator. Dave got his start within Deloitte’s Oil & Gas practice where he assisted supermajor and independent clients with ERP implementations and post-merger integration.

Dave was an All-American distance runner for Carnegie Mellon, and he’s currently taking advantage of the lockdown to share his love of running and competition with his son. He also enjoys wakeboard tow rope, unless the water is too cold, in which case he prefers to drive the boat.

While at EQT, she gained a wide array of experience ranging from corporate financial reporting to large scale system selections and implementations. Prior to working in the oil and gas space, she worked 5 years at Arthur Andersen in their business process outsourcing group.

Deanna’s most recent years have been focused on project management and associated process management, with a focus on selecting and implementing systems. Identifying scalable systems and implementing associated disciplined process design, solved many of the complicated and data driven oil and gas business challenges.

While at EQT, she gained a wide array of experience ranging from corporate financial reporting to large scale system selections and implementations. On the personal front, she enjoys traveling with her family and watching her kids play sports!

Vice President of Accounting

Melissa Johnson joined 1Source in 2018 with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Her background is in upstream and midstream accounting and has been inclusive of financial reporting, revenue accounting, cost accounting, production allocations, plant allocations, regulatory and tax filings, nominations and marketing.

Melissa’s most recent years prior to 1Source were spent as the controller of a startup oil and gas company where she assisted as an integral part of the implementation of the accounting system. She oversaw all aspects of accounting for the organization, working closely with operations, land, marketing, and management to ensure all was working cohesively. She had primary responsibility for working through annual external audits. During divestiture and dissolution of the organization, she worked closely with audit and tax consultants as well as with the purchaser to wind down activities as needed.


Melissa enjoys helping clients with their accounting needs and strategy as they grow. She holds a degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, volunteering, and spending time with friends.
