What are 3 words you would use to describe EAG?
Challenging, Motivating, and Teamwork
What’s been one of your proudest moments working at EAG?
Hard to choose just one! It is always a proud moment when clients acknowledge the value/impact we bring to their team by tackling their big issues.
What advice do you have for prospective candidates that want to join EAG?
Get to know your coworkers and their areas of expertise (not just within your team) – reach out when you need help and try to learn from them in the process. Be willing to do the same to others – share your knowledge and help others when needed! Focus on how your current work can make an impact elsewhere – can it be used to help other clients, projects, or for new opportunities?
What’s one thing – either industry-related or not – you learned in the last month?
Some companies are using flare gas to mine bitcoin – genius move!
What do you like to do in your free time? Any favorite places you like to visit?
Work out – lately I’ve been hooked on Bikram yoga, but I also enjoy running! All things outdoors with my dogs – take them pretty much everywhere with me!
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I am the designated family mascot – I dress up as Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc.
How do you balance your career and family?
Boundaries! I try to separate my work and personal time as much as possible. When I close my laptop for the day, I try to not stress too much about my to-do list and issues I am working on. As much as I can, I try to avoid picking up work again after I’ve stopped for the day.
Who or what inspires you and why?
I am inspired by how the 1Source group works together across teams to help our clients. Seeing the results of our collective effort to help resolve client issues, have successful projects, and achieve goals together as a team motivates me to keep pushing myself and help others at work.
