The Houston-based company’s second office marks continued momentum in the oil and gas industry!
Tulsa, Oklahoma – Oct. 26, 2021 – EAG 1Source, the oil and gas industry’s leading trusted outsourcing provider, is pleased to announce the opening of its second office, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The company’s Land and Division Order team has had a strong presence in the area for years, and the new brick and mortar office comes as EAG expands its staff and grows its client roster.
EAG 1Source is the sister company of EAG Services, a full-scale consulting services firm based in Houston, Texas. EAG Services was established in 2003 and staffs highly qualified oil and gas professionals that successfully deliver both functional and technical solutions to the upstream and midstream energy markets. For decades, Tulsa was known as the, “Oil and Gas Capital of the World” but in recent years, several large upstream E&P companies have gone through consolidations, resulting in many of these companies having to leave the city. The opening of the Tulsa office gives EAG 1Source the opportunity to capitalize on large companies that are no longer operating in the same capacity by creating jobs for very experienced Land and Division Order resources that have chosen to remain in Tulsa.
“We are thrilled to have a second office located in an area that plays such a critical role in the oil and gas industry, and where EAG has built strong connections over the last two decades,” said EAG CEO, President, and Founder, Elizabeth Gerbel. “Recent moves and consolidations of large-scale oil and gas operators in the area have provided EAG with the perfect opportunity to add local highly-experienced resources to the team and establish a unique workplace for employees to collaborate in-person.” EAG is familiar with skillsets of experts in the area and are thrilled to be given the opportunity to serve clients with a greater pool of knowledge.
The EAG Tulsa office currently has nine employees, which include Land Administration, Division Order and Accounting professionals, however, this number is expected to triple by the end of 2022. The office is located in the Bank of America building owned by Price Family Properties, giving EAG a great opportunity to network with other oil and gas companies and clients. EAG also staffs talented Land and Division Order professionals in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Houston, Texas, and are continually dedicated to finding the best talent in the industry to serve our clients, regardless of the location.
“I’ve spent about eight years of my career in Tulsa, so this is an incredibly proud moment for me to embrace EAG’s second physical presence alongside leading professionals in the area,” said EAG Chief Revenue Officer, Lindsey Mersman. Scott Hakel, Vice President of Land at EAG adds, “I’ve spent the last 20 years working in Tulsa. Over that time, I’ve met and worked with some of the most knowledgeable, hard-working, and dedicated professionals in the industry. It’s exciting to have the opportunity to build an incredible team and timing couldn’t be more perfect. We’ve all spent the last two years secluded, so the opening of our Tulsa office gives EAG the opportunity to collaborate and feel like we are part of a team again.”
Beyond Texas and Oklahoma, EAG supports assets located in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Louisiana, Kansas, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
